The Vorderkaserklamm gorge between St Martin and Weißbach bei Lofer is one of the natural wonders in the Salzburger Saalachtal. The secure walkways and steps make the gorge easy to explore and also ideal for a family excursion.
The Seisenbergklamm gorge - the gateway to the Weißbach Nature Park - takes about 1 hour to explore. This excursion is suitable for the whole family. Along the route, the Klammgeist (gorge spirit) tells children and adults about the interesting history of the gorge.
Gondola lifts 1 and 2: The Almenwelt Lofer lies at 1,400 m above sea level and is one of the most beautiful hiking and biking paradises in Austria. Numerous alpine huts, various hiking trails and an incredible mountain panorama await you!
The Lamprechtshöhle cave between St Martin and Weißbach bei Lofer is one of the natural wonders in the Saalachtal valley. With a depth of around 51 km, it is one of the largest cave systems in Europe.
The Salzburger Saalachtal Card offers you the opportunity to explore the Pinzgau region free of charge. It includes free bus and train travel throughout the entire Pinzgau region, including to Lofer, Unken, Bad Reichenhall and the city of Salzburg. From Zell am See to Krimml, you can use the Pinzgau railway service free of charge.
